Rebuilding Nepal

In Nepal, the CRS Fair Trade Fund contributed $10,500 to Annapurna Producers’ Jewelry and the Lubhu Weaving Producers to rebuild their artisan workshops after suffering extensive damage from the earthquake in 2015. Both workshops have recently been completed. After experiencing so much loss and hardship, these Nepalese artisans now can begin to recover and rebuild what was lost. They can return to work in a safe environment and will be able to provide for themselves and their families.

Over a year after the earthquake, CRS continues its relief efforts in Nepal by helping affected communities build sturdier homes, by training workers and teaching valuable new skills.
