Buy Fair Trade Coffee
Want to buy Fair Trade coffee and help make the future brighter for the farmers who grew it? Follow these four simple steps:
1. Navigate. Find a Fair Trade coffee company on the CRS Coffee Map (below). Whichever company you pick, you can feel good about your choice. All the companies on the CRS Coffee Map are totally committed to Fair Trade and CRS—every one donates a percentage of your purchase to the CRS Fair Trade Fund. We suggest selecting the one nearest you. After all, Fair Trade is about relationships. Hard to build relationships if you buy your coffee from a company on the other side of the country. (Besides, think about all the jet fuel you burn shipping your coffee all that way.)

Speaking of navigation, you may find it a little tricky to navigate all the symbols that are printed on your coffee bag. Fear not, here's a simple guide:
2. Negotiate. If you are buying coffee for yourself, the prices you see on our partners' websites are the prices you will pay. But if you are buying a large amount of coffee for your parish, office or school, identify yourself as a participant in the CRS Fair Trade Program and ask for a discount. (Don’t negotiate too hard, though—our partners need to make a living, too!)
3. Caffeinate. Buy Fair Trade coffee online or over the phone for your parish, office, school and home, and enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee handpicked by farmers overseas.
4. Celebrate. Give thanks for the awesome coffee you enjoy and the people who make it possible—the artisanal farmers who grow it and the remarkable Fair Trade companies who sell it to you. When you make the conscious choice to drink their product, you enter into a direct relationship with them based on mutual respect, economic justice and human solidarity. Now that's something worth celebrating.
