Villanova puts Chocolate to the Test
Up in the Northeast region, CRS has a lot of rockin’ college activists–or what we call ambassadors–for Fair Trade. Amy of Villanova University helped organize a chocolate taste test to build awareness of and commitment to Fair Trade chocolate.
You’ll see in the story that what Amy and her friends did was pretty simple: bought some chocolate, gathered some information, set up a taste-test, and let Fair Trade do the rest. These kind of fun activities bring people together, get them talking, and support Fair Trade farmers.
With World Fair Trade Day just a week away it is not too late to organize this kind of event at your school, place of worship or community hang out. Meanwhile, a big shout out of thanks to Amy, CRS Northeast and Villanova for spreading the word about Fair Trade!
