Nicaraguan Coffee Farmers on Tour in California

CRS supports cooperatives of small-scale coffee farmers in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In Nicaragua, CRS has accompanied the Aroma del Cafe cooperative for the past five years. Three members of that cooperative will be in California from May 3-7 to participate in the Specialty Coffee Association of America’s annual conference. After that, they will be visiting with Fair Trade advocates throughout Southern California and talking about what Fair Trade means to them. Come out to hear Adrian, Armando and Immer share their stories! If you can’t meet them but want to support their cooperative, visit our Coffee Map and look for the “n.” logo to find our partners that carry it.
